With A background in fINE art and art history, vocal performance, dance, and teaching, We approach photography as something that unfolds through movement, attention, and a FREEDOM to be IMPERFECT AND CONNECT. The work begins when WE stop trying to get it right, and start engaging with OUR AUTHENTIC SELVES.
Our process is collaborative and attuned, WITH DIRECTION THAT FLOWS AND INVITES HUMANITY; we seek to create space for exploration AND expression. What happens in that space is shaped WITH intention, to create images that feel BOTH alive and ARTFULLY considered.
We are Laila and Rachel, longtime collaborators with OVER 15 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE DOCUMENTING WEDDINGS, AND a shared commitment to creating PHOTOGRAPHS WITH AN APPROACH THAT is human, expressive, and art-forward. Together. We bring different sensitivities to the same goal: to see people clearly, and to translate that into lasting imagery.
